Reviews and Ratings
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were spacious, but unfortunately lacked the ocean view as advertised due to trees obstructing the scenery. The service was top-notch with attentive and friendly staff. The location was fantastic, right next to the beach. The dining experience was delicious and fulfilling.
The hotel had its ups and downs. The room was flooded with rainwater during heavy downpours, but by the end, it improved slightly. The beachfront view was a highlight, though.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were spacious, colorful, and equipped with much-needed air conditioning, but the initial room had a strong cigar smell, prompting a room change where the internet didn't work. The cleanliness of the rooms, however, was exceptional, tended to twice a day, though lacking some creature comforts like counter space.
I woke up to the most amazing view of the beach from my room, which was beautifully adorned with unique art pieces collected by Mr Malca. The cleanliness was top-notch with fresh toiletries and towels daily, making my stay truly special. However, there were some extra bills added to my account and the cleanliness was not up to par with other resorts.
The hotel boasts one of the best AC systems in all Tulum and offers beautiful rooms, although the second-floor location may hinder ocean views. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, part of the original 'house' design, enhancing the overall experience.
My stay at Casa Malca was a mix of positives and negatives. The hotel offers much more than just rooms, but unfortunately, the internet didn't work during my visit. The concrete construction of the rooms seemed recent but not fully weatherproof.
